During our life, there are a lot of small and big moments every single day, every single second. I always have hoped that I could carry all of them with me. Sometimes, there are moments I want to remember forever, so I cry. This soon becomes the driving force behind my life. While writing this, I thought carefully about what makes me live.
The vital thing that came to my mind is ‘coincidence’. I was a person who was afraid about accident and not having a plan. But, after I came to London, everything was fortuitous. Meeting my precious flat mates and a lot of friends from Goldsmiths, but also outside of uni. People who talk on the street and little moments that come to me in a big meaning. These things have made me grow up to reflect and believe in the value of life. Not only the visible things, but the nature and atmosphere I have encountered while going on the trips built my inspiration for the world. I thought that in the world, there are various shapes of lives, expressions, landscapes and even love. Coincidence creates our naturalness and puts our lives on the canvas. Coincidence is paint.
The biggest extension of the fortuitous moment is ‘love’. For a long time, the emotion of love has been my strongest motivation of my life. The love about not only being with a partner, but also family, friends and everything in the world, too, make us feel alive. Seven months ago, I met my first lover in London. I, who had a love and passion for everything, was not used to the love that came to me from someone. J, who instilled love and conviction in me, is the biggest motivation that makes me live now and the strongest love I’ve ever had. A lot of moments we have shared are unforgettable. I’m trying to carry all of my memories and share ‘love’ to everyone as much as J gave me.
We breathe with coincidences and loving moments. Just as breathing makes us live, the infinite driving force these things give us is what is created in a factory called ‘I’. You make you live, and what makes you live is bringing moments you love.
Let’s breathe with them.
